Phoebe, 46

“Between women, love is contemplative.
There is no struggle, no victory, no defeat;
in exact reciprocity each is at once subject and object,
sovereign and slave; duality becomes mutuality.”

– Simone de Beauvoir (1908 – 1986), French writer

PHOEBE, 46
(Febs P.)

her name, taken from a goddess
but far from Olympus she hails
winsome friend of lonesome mistress
in nice goodtime she never fails

a woman she is, but not quite
she looks like a man, but not one
ready for action day or night
in bars she trysts as though a man

in love she falls with teenage girls
she finds much fun in chasing skirts
am quite amazed, my mind in twirls
her girls are so alluring flirts

one character like no other
a friend to me thru thin and thick
a fellow one may not bother
i can but wonder why we click.

– between
moral and immoral
is oral.
