Shy Shyla

“Paint my love
You should paint my love
It’s the picture of thousand sunsets
It’s the freedom of a thousand doves
Baby you should paint my love.”

– fr. lyrics of  Paint My Love, Michael Learns to Rock

SHY SHYLA
(Shy as Shadow, Sly as Swallow)

was it the moonlight
that made me see
your shy smile
a mile away?
was it the moon shadow
that hid your unfurrowed brow
from my sight?
was it the moonbeam
that made me see gleam
in your eyes?

but, perhaps
‘twas your sweet face Shy
that made the moon shine
in full grace.

– July 2002

– between painting and poetry is inspiration.
– between attraction and repulsion is magnetism.
