Love Declared in Silence

Telephone has forgotten

That it should ring”

Love uttered, like bread buttered, is flavored.)

Repression of loving is transgression in living.)

  1. I am honored to find my haiku printed as the headnote to your blog site. Thank you very much. I am pleased that it spoke to you.

    • Hi Michael,

Thank you so much for your comment.
I chanced upon your quote somewhere in the Net and it struck me immediately. I felt it is an apt headnote for my poem,
“Love Declared in Silence”. The metaphoric relationship between a mute telephone and love, to my mind, is just wonderful.

I am also glad that the author of the great haiku has found his way to my blog.

      Thanks again Michael, and regards.
