“Many men would take the death-sentence
without a whimper to escape the life-sentence
which fate carries in her other hand.”

– T.E. Lawrence (1888 – 1935)

(Condemn me not.)

when my
drum is mum
when my
flute is mute

just bear the silence.

if my heart of lyre
has lost desire
if my mind of harp
is no more sharp

then read my sentence
but condemn me not.

– between
 weak and meek
is critic.

– between
if and then
is logic.

– between
cause and effect
is verdict.
