About

Welcome to Shifting Shades!

This blog features pages from my book,
PLUS more…

Here you find poems and verses I wrote
and photographs I snapped.*

It is a personal chronicle, a journal of my thoughts
expressed through snippets of words and images.

I wish to share them with you.

“Shifting Shades” is my allusion to Life’s ever-changing colors.
I view Life as a color spectrum: changing hues from end-to-end,
shifting shades at every stage, at turns and churns.

My words and photos in this blog are but iceberg-tip.
Yet, may they strike chords in your psyche deep;
deep as the tip of a nail to full-depth driven;
deep as the zeal I feel with every post written.
The spectrum, by light verse, I have fleetingly traversed;
but I hope, hearts and minds, I have transiently immersed.

May you see what you seek here. Enjoy your sojourn.

I welcome your comments.

Muchas gracias!

P.S. : No awards please.

No Laurels Please.
Thank you so much, but I politely decline awards (and nominations) here.
Your simple “like” and comments are well appreciated and are rewarding/ fulfilling enough.

I write not for wealth or fame
I seek no poet's laurel bough
Tho' no plume will carve my name
Let my heart through pen ink flow.

My psyche to fore be brought
To share with those of my kind
It is when I write my thought
That one gets to read my mind.

If by my words and verses I can teach, then gain I reap is beyond riches’ reach.
